September Book Haul

I have always wanted to do a book haul. And today I actually went shopping and bought more than one book. Hence, I took the opportunity to give you a look at my September Book Haul!

So yay!

I also, attempted to take my own photos, which turned out surprisingly well… you know, considering my lack of skills and knowledge in the area of photography and art in general. But keep in mind these photos were taken on my iPhone. So let me know what you think of that. 🙂

1. The first book/s that I got was the Infernal Devices Trilogy. I have already read these, as I borrowed them from one of my close friends. But guys, they were on sale…. and I have a thing about owning books I’ve read. I can’t explain it. If I like it, I need to own it. Let me know if you relate to this or have any idea what I’m talking about. I reviewed the first book, Clockwork Angel, (you can find it here) and plan to review the others and yeah, there pretty awesome (but also painful. A good painful.)
   
2. The next book I bought was The Bane Chronicles, which is related to The Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments series. I have wanted to read this forever. Magnus Bane is one of my favourite characters in the whole of the Shadowhunters series, by Cassandra Clare. He is second only to Will and Jem (I’m still struggling to pick one.) I’m really looking forward to reading this and getting to know his character a little better.
3. Lastly, I got Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green. I’m interested to read this, as it has mixed reviews. I have loved everything I’ve ever read from John Green, so I’ll probably like this. I don’t know much about it, but I’m still keen to give it a read.

So overall, I’m really happy. I just feel like buying books, just completely made my day and nothing can stop me now. Haha. I know these books are all kind of ‘hyped’ books, but oh well. They’re hyped for a reason. That’s how I think about it anyway. I do read books that aren’t as popular, just so you know I’m not one of those people who only ever reads hyped books. 

Yeah, so anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post. I feel like I put a lot more effort into this post than my usual posts. I should be posting more, because I’m now on two weeks of holidays. Yay for me. So hopefully, I’ll get back into more of a routine for posting.
